Visiting Professor Kazuichi Maruyama

Prof. Maruyama will give a talk on “Comprehensive analysis of vitreous specimens for uveitis classification”.

This lecture will have a clinical orientation.
In addition to his Osaka position, he is a part time Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, Kyoto Prefecutal University of Medicine, Japan, and  Adjunct Scientist at Schepens Eye Research Institute/Massachusetts Eye and Ear, USA.

His three main research interests are:
Uveitis: diagnosis and treatment
Cornea: transplantation immunology
Basic research: Lymphatic function in the eye, macrophage function
