4th Shanghai-Cologne Scientific Symposium

On 18.11. the 4th joint Shanghai-Cologne Symposium was held virtually with presentations from the Departments of Ophthalmology at Tongji University and University of Cologne. Speakers from the FOR 2240 talked e.g. about lymphangiogenic preconditioning prior to high-risk corneal transplantation (P2) and treatment of corneal edema (P5). More that 3000 ophthalmologists and scientists form China attended the meeting. The meeting was led by Prof. Bi, Chairman of the Dept. of Ophthalmology in Shanghai and Prof. Cursiefen, Speaker of the FOR 2240 and Chairman of the Dept. of Ophthalmology at University of Cologne.
